The earthquake in Haiti prompted the TQ-Group with headquarters in Seefeld to initiate a major support action: Approximately 700 employees in five company locations donated 5,140 Euro, an amount that was even doubled by the TQ management. Wolfgang Heinz-Fischer, Head of Marketing and Public Relations (left) and his colleagues Michaela Blaschke (Sales Department) and Ingo Albert (Production; right) could hand over 10,300 Euro to Christoph Rublack, the Area Manager of the SOS Children’s Village in Ammersee for the support of the two SOS Children’s Villages in Haiti.
SOS Children’s Village is very supportive and helpful specifically in Haiti because the organization has been active in this country for almost three decades and is very familiar with the local customs and conditions. TQ-Group has a longstanding relationship with SOS Children’s Village: The electronics company has not only taken over the sponsorship for the Village in Dießen, but also for several children in Africa and Asia. In addition, the company donates on a regular base to SOS Children’s Villages, for example the proceeds from the annual Christmas raffle.
